If You Knew Her is ultimately a hopeful, redemptive love story with a hard-won happy ending, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Northwest British Columbia. I’ve worked hard to let warmth, humor, and healing outweigh the darker moments, but this book does touch on heavy subjects. Please be aware if you are sensitive to the following:  Mention of sexual assault (off page, not graphic) or trafficking please (off page, not detailed). There is also mention of murder, and brief mention of the death of an elderly pet, alcoholism in secondary character, familial loss and grief.​​
